StayStrong - Emsella Maintenance Treatments for Urinary Incontinence
What Is StayStrong?
StayStrong is an Emsella Maintenance program offered exclusively by StayDry Med Centers. StayStrong is for patients who have completed a full series of six or more Emsella Urinary Incontinence or Sexual Health Treatments over a 3- to 4-week treatment cycle. These maintenance treatments are available to all existing StayDry Med Center patients or patients who have completed a minimum of six treatments at another center.
Why do pelvic floor muscles get weak?
Atrophy refers to the weakening and shrinking of muscles due to disuse or other factors. Even after a full series of Emsella Treatments, pelvic floor muscles can atrophy for various reasons, including aging, lack of physical activity, obesity, chronic coughing, and certain medical conditions including prostate issues and overactive bladder.
At StayDry Med Centers, we stress the importance of Kegel Exercises and good dietary and lifestyle choices to help maintain pelvic floor strength for bladder control after their Emsella treatments. Our patients find that regular Emsella maintenance treatments help them maintain the strength they achieved during their initial treatments.
Are Emsella Maintenance Treatments recommended?
Yes, Emsella Maintenance Treatments at StayDry Med Centers are often recommended after completing a full series of initial treatments.
Like any fitness regimen, consistency is key when it comes to maintaining the strength and integrity of your pelvic floor muscles. They need regular exercise to maintain their strength.
The benefits of StayDry Med Centers Emsella Maintenance Treatments are significant and can help individuals maintain the progress they achieved during their initial treatment series. Here are some key advantages of Emsella Maintenance Treatments at StayDry Med Centers:
1. Sustained Pelvic Floor Strength:
After completing the initial series of StayDry Emsella treatments, your pelvic floor muscles have likely gained strength and endurance. Maintenance treatments help sustain and even enhance this strength over time.
2. Preventing Regression:
Regular maintenance treatments prevent the regression of your pelvic floor strength. Muscles can lose their tone and strength if not consistently exercised, and maintenance sessions help prevent this decline.
3. Long-Term Continence:
Maintenance treatments contribute to long-term continence by ensuring your pelvic floor muscles remain active and effective at maintaining bladder control.
4. Improved Quality of Life:
A strong pelvic floor positively impacts your overall well-being. Maintaining your pelvic floor strength can lead to improved comfort, confidence, and quality of life.
5. Quick and Convenient:
Emsella Maintenance Treatments at StayDry Med Centers are usually shorter and less frequent than the initial series, making them a convenient addition to your regular schedule.
6. Tailored Care:
Maintenance treatments are personalized to your unique needs, ensuring that you continue to receive the targeted care required to maintain your results.
7. Preventive Measure:
For individuals who are at risk of developing pelvic floor issues or have a history of urinary incontinence, maintenance treatments can act as a preventive measure to minimize the risk of recurrence.
8. Continued Support:
Regular visits to StayDry Med Centers for maintenance treatments provide an opportunity to stay connected with our experts and receive ongoing support and guidance.
Remember that each person’s body and needs are different, and the recommendation for Emsella Maintenance Treatments at StayDry Med Centers can vary based on factors such as your initial treatment results, lifestyle, and overall pelvic health goals. It’s a good idea to consult with the professionals at StayDry Med Centers to determine the most suitable maintenance plan for you.

How does StayStrong and Emsella Maintenance Work?
The StayDry Med Centers StayStrong program is a unique Emsella maintenance program designed for our patients to keep their pelvic floor strong. Most patients that complete a full series of Emsella Treatments see an amazing improvement in their bladder and fecal control. Most report being able to sleep through the night as well. Once treatment is complete your pelvic floor muscle group is lifted and much stronger, but over time that muscle group does weaken, and patients report losing some control again.
Patients have 2 options for Emsella Maintenance:
Option # 1 is best for patients who have experienced mild pelvic floor atrophy and may want a maintenance treatment every 3 – 6 months. These maintenance treatments are $149 per treatment as needed.
Option # 2 is the StayDry Med Centers StayStrong program, and this program is best for patients who want to proactively maintain their StayDry Emsella results, pelvic floor strength and bladder control and prevent regression.
StayStrong is a monthly maintenance program and patients sign up to visit one time per month to have one 28-minute Emsella maintenance treatment. Patients can cancel the program at any time and if you miss a treatment, we always allow you the opportunity to double up the following month.
This is the best value for patients who want to maintain their results. The cost per treatment is just $99 and that is paid monthly via auto-draft. It is the most effective and most affordable method to keep your great results with Emsella. Speak with your StayDry Med Centers Emsella Technician today about joining the program.
How much do Emsella StayStrong Mainenance treatments cost?

What are other ways to prevent pelvic floor atrophy and maintain pelvic floor strength?
To prevent pelvic floor muscle atrophy and maintain pelvic floor strength, consider the following strategies:
1. Kegel Exercises:
These exercises involve contracting and relaxing the pelvic floor muscles. Regularly practicing Kegel exercises can help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and maintain their tone.
2. Maintain a Healthy Weight:
Obesity can contribute to pelvic floor muscle weakness. Maintaining a healthy weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise can help prevent muscle atrophy.
3. Stay Active:
Regular physical activity helps to maintain muscle strength and overall health. Engage in exercises that support the pelvic floor muscles, such as yoga, Pilates, and core-strengthening exercises.
4. Proper Lifting Techniques:
When lifting heavy objects, use proper lifting techniques to avoid putting excessive strain on the pelvic floor muscles.
5. Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy:
If you’re experiencing issues with pelvic floor muscles, a physical therapist specializing in pelvic health can provide personalized exercises and guidance to address your specific needs.
6. Maintain Hydration and Fiber Intake:
Adequate hydration and a diet rich in fiber can help prevent constipation and straining during bowel movements, which can put pressure on the pelvic floor.
7. Proper Posture:
Maintain good posture to support your pelvic floor muscles. Poor posture can lead to increased pressure on the pelvic floor over time.
8. Manage Chronic Coughing:
If you have a chronic cough, seek medical advice to address the underlying cause. Coughing can strain the pelvic floor muscles.
